Search Intent Analyzer
Before writing for a keyword, work out what the searcher wants. Enter a query and the analyzer shows its intent mix across informational, navigational, commercial and transactional signals, the words that triggered each, whether it is a question, local or freshness-seeking, the search features it may show – featured snippets, videos, local pack, shopping or image results – and the type of page most likely to satisfy it.

Search Intent Analyzer FAQ
Does it look at live search results?
No. It reads the words of the query. Always compare with the current results, which show what Google believes the intent is.
Why is my query “mixed”?
Short, broad queries such as “running shoes” can mean research or buying. Google usually shows a mix of result types for them.
What are the search features based on?
On patterns: questions often get featured snippets, “how to” gets videos, “near me” gets the local pack. They are likely, not guaranteed.
Can I analyse many queries?
Use the Keyword Intent Classifier for lists.
Matching content to intent
Search engines rank pages that satisfy the searcher. A perfect article will not rank for a query where people want to buy, and a product page will not rank for a how-to question.
The analyzer turns the query into a recommendation: the page type, what to put first, and which search features to prepare for, such as a short direct answer for a featured snippet or product structured data for shopping results.
Its rules are simple and visible, which makes it a good starting point for a brief – and a reminder to check what actually ranks.
Privacy: everything on this page runs in your browser. What you type or paste is not uploaded, stored or logged, and the result is generated on your device, so you can safely work with unpublished content, client data or drafts.
Tip: the result updates as you type, so you can try variations quickly. Copy the output with one click or download it as a file, and keep a copy of your input if you want to come back later – nothing is saved between visits.
Who it is for: the tool is built for site owners, marketers, writers and developers alike. You do not need to install anything or create an account, it works on phones as well as on desktop computers, and the results are plain text you can paste into any CMS, spreadsheet, code editor or ticket.
Accuracy: the rules used here are documented on the page and follow the published guidelines of the major search engines and web standards. Where a result is an approximation or a rule of thumb rather than an official limit, the page says so, so you can decide how much weight to give it.
Good practice: generated markup and files only help when they match the real page. Publish them together with the visible content they describe, test the page with the official tools from the search engines, and update the markup whenever the page changes.
