    Keyword Generator FAQ

    Does it show search volume?

No. This tool combines your words; it does not have access to search data, so it does not show volumes, competition or costs. Check the list in Google Keyword Planner or another research tool.

How is this different from the long-tail generator?

The SEO Keywords Generator expands one seed into long-tail ideas grouped by search intent. This tool systematically multiplies several seeds by modifiers, locations and audiences – useful for ads and location pages.

    What are match types?

In search ads, "phrase match" shows ads for searches that include the meaning of the phrase, [exact match] for searches with the same meaning. Plain keywords are broad match.

How many keywords can it create?

Up to 5,000 per run. Use the word limit and exclusions to keep lists focused.

    Are the combinations grammatical?

They follow common search patterns such as “best X for Y”. Review the list: some combinations may not suit your product.

    Is anything uploaded?

No. Lists are generated in your browser.

    Building keyword lists from modifiers

Most searches combine a core term with words that reveal what the searcher wants: “best” and “price” signal buying, “how to” signals learning, “vs” and “alternatives” signal comparison, a city name signals a local need. Generating these combinations systematically helps you cover each intent instead of relying on whatever comes to mind.

The generator multiplies every seed by every modifier in the groups you choose, adds your locations and audiences in natural positions, removes duplicates and drops anything that is too long or contains an excluded word. The result is a clean list you can group into ad groups or map to pages.

For paid search, match types control how closely a search must match your keyword. Phrase and exact match keep spend focused; the tool can output either or both. The CSV includes the modifier group so you can build ad groups by intent.

A generated list is a starting point. Real search data tells you which combinations people actually type and how competitive they are, so validate the list in a keyword research tool before committing budget or writing content.
