Facebook Ad Copy Generator

Meta ads have four text parts: primary text, headline, description and button. Enter your product, audience, the problem it solves, the benefit and your offer, and get four complete variations, each part measured against how much Facebook and Instagram placements typically show. The wording avoids the personal-attribute phrasing Meta’s policies prohibit.

    Facebook Ad Copy Generator FAQ

How long can Facebook ad text be?

Primary text can be long, but most placements show about 125 characters before “See more”. Headlines are cut at around 40 characters, descriptions at about 30, depending on placement.

    What are personal attributes?

Meta does not allow ads that assert or imply personal characteristics of the viewer, such as health, finances, religion or appearance (“Are you in debt?”). Speak about the product and its benefits instead.

    Should I use emoji?

Sparingly. One emoji can draw the eye in a busy feed; several look like spam and some audiences dislike them. Test both.

    Which button should I choose?

The one that matches the next step on the landing page: “Shop now” for a product page, “Sign up” for a form, “Learn more” for information.

    Will this copy guarantee results?

No. Copy is one factor; targeting, creative, offer and budget matter as much. Test variations and keep the winners.

    Is anything uploaded?

Only the optional AI button sends your fields to the server. The built-in variations are created in your browser.

    Copy for the scrolling thumb

A Facebook or Instagram ad competes with photos from friends and posts from accounts people chose to follow. It has a fraction of a second to earn attention, and the text has to work with the image to say what is offered, to whom, and why it is worth a tap.

Each text part has a role. The primary text sits above the image and carries the message: its first line must make sense on its own, since the rest is hidden behind “See more”. The headline sits below the image in bold and names the product or the offer. The description adds a supporting detail, and the button states the action.

Meta’s advertising standards shape the wording. Ads may not assert or imply personal attributes of the viewer, make unrealistic promises, or use sensational language. Phrases such as “Are you struggling with…” are a common reason for rejection. Describe what the product does and for whom it is made, and the ad is both compliant and clearer.

Testing is built into the platform. Supply several variations and let delivery data show which combination works for your audience. Change one thing at a time when you can, keep claims accurate and consistent with the landing page, and refresh copy when frequency rises and results fall.
